Unknown Bécquer

Through interviews with some of the main experts on Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer, the documentary describes a character apart from the romantic myth, and confronts some controversial aspects of his life, such as his direct involvement in the politics of a turbulent age. At the same time it places him in the necessary literary context to emphasize his importance as one of the most modernizing authors of his time.
