Documentary about the experiences of the French writer Jean Genet in Barcelona, where he lived from 1933 to 1934, when he was 23 years old. From the book by Juan Goytisolo and texts of Genet himself, the documentary traces the places that the writer frequented, mainly Chinatown (today "El Raval") and the establishments and cabarets where homosexuals and transvestites met. His experiences in the marginal Barcelona marginal Barcelona of the time marked much of his work.
