Synopsis:

Three Republican soldiers, Ramiro, Angel and Gildo, flee to the mountains when they realize that the Civil War is lost. Franco finds out the loose and sends a detachment to track them down and arrest them. Among the persecutors there is a man who competed with Ramiro for the love of a beautiful girl years ago.
