"The fat ones do not fall in love, they crave" was the last thing Santero Domingo and his compadre Pepelucho heard at the bar "La Corajuda", before the dark "Sapo Estívaris" called them to order the manufacture of a virgin natural size, and ask for their transfer to San Mateo, a town hidden in the heart of the Yungas of La Paz, thus initiating a journey through their feelings. Having heard the conversation, Joaquin, a gambler who permanently defies fate, offers to take him to "La Ramona," an old borrowed truck that he passes for his own. Once the Virgin is made, the three of them start the journey in "La Ramona" descending from the city - 4,700 meters high - until they reach tropical areas where the presence of nature and their positions before life determine a tense but balanced relationship among them. The faith of one in God and the faith of the other in the game and chance, end up crossing in an unpredictable outcome where the notion of reality is lost.
