A woman, who was lying on the ground “forty years”; a disabled guy, who made a vow not to budge until the arrival of the kingdom of heaven; ragman, who collects clothes from corpses; a humpbacked old woman, who keeps a head of her lover-executioner in the box; an old man, who collects a heap of rubbish, to make it grow up to the sky...
The director spent more than one year, among his characters, a beggars from Kishinev and started filming by his handheld camera well ahead of joining the VGIK.
