In 2004, a multinational textile closed its doors in Bonmatí (Girona). About 300 people, mostly middle-aged women, lost their jobs and had to decide how to redirect their lives. The age is a barrier but so is their little formal education. Instead, they have accumulated an experience but it no serves them much as their industry, the textile, is disappearing in Catalonia.
