Insurgents

 Through the reconstruction of some crucial historical moments from the long struggle of the indigenous people of Bolivia, the film portraits the pursuit of regaining sovereignty. Several indigenous heroes who have been neglected by the official history are redeemed with the rise of the first indigenous leader as President of Bolivia.
